The VL512 is a 4G OBDII tracker that plugs into the diagnostic port of almost any passenger car and starts reporting in under a minute. No wiring, no workshop time, no vehicle off the road.

Who it suits

Worth knowing
An OBD device can be unplugged, and that is a feature for a car you lend to staff you trust and a drawback for a rental vehicle. Where the device must stay put, we fit the hardwired VL103M or JM-VL01 instead, and we will tell you which is appropriate.

Does it fit my car?
It fits vehicles with a standard OBDII port, which covers most modern passenger cars. Tell us the make, model and year and we will confirm.
Will it affect the vehicle?
No. It reads from the port and draws minimal power.
Can it be moved to another car?
Yes, in seconds, and the platform is updated so the history stays with the right vehicle.
What we include with every VL512
The device configured and ready, a data SIM, Tracksolid Pro access, geofences and alerts set up with you, and training. Because it is plug-and-play we can send it to you ready to use, or fit it and verify it on the platform ourselves. Warranty and support come from our Doha office rather than an overseas helpdesk.
When to choose something else
If the vehicle is rented out, driven by contractors, or the tracker must not be removable, choose a hardwired unit such as the VL103M or JM-VL01. If you want engine data as well as location, choose the VL502. We would rather point you to the right device than sell you the wrong one twice.
