The CI02 is a USB camera made specifically for the JC450 series. It mounts directly onto the main unit, so there is no second cable run, and its wide 135 degree horizontal view covers almost the whole cabin.

Where it is used

Cabin monitoring on trucks, buses and heavy vehicles that already run a JC450. It is the simplest possible way to add an interior view to that system.

It is designed for the JC450 series. For other models, the CI01 or CI03 is the right choice.

Yes, infrared for use in dim light and darkness.

Can it be angled?

Its mounting is designed for cabin coverage from the main unit. Where a different angle is needed, the CI03 with its adjustable view is the better option.

Fitted correctly, or not at all

A cabin camera is only as good as its aim. We set it with someone sitting in the driver seat, check the frame covers the whole cabin rather than the ceiling, and verify the infrared view with the doors closed and the lights off. It takes a few extra minutes per vehicle and it is the difference between footage that settles a dispute and footage that shows an empty headrest.
