Personal GPS trackers in Qatar for people, not vehicles
Some things you need to locate are not vehicles. A parent wants to know a child arrived at an activity. A family wants reassurance about an elderly relative who still goes out alone. A company has staff working alone on remote sites. A personal tracker answers those quietly, without turning someone’s day into surveillance.
Qbit M
The Qbit M is a small, light tracker designed to be carried. It uses LTE-M communication and GNSS positioning for a stable connection and accurate location, and it supports a safety fence and a sound alarm. Accessories let it be carried in a bag, clipped to clothing or kept in a pocket.
Where these are used in Qatar
- Children: school runs, activities and the walk between them, with a safe zone that notifies a parent on arrival and departure.
- Elderly relatives: independence retained, with a location available if a familiar routine goes wrong.
- Lone workers: staff on remote sites, with an SOS that reaches a supervisor rather than a call centre in another country.
- Valuables and bags: a tracker in a case or a delivery bag is a practical, low-cost precaution.
How to use one without it becoming intrusive
Tell the person it exists and why. Use safe zones and arrival alerts rather than watching a live map, so the device tells you when something differs from the routine instead of tempting constant checking. Agree with an older relative what the device is for, which is usually the difference between a device that is carried and one that stays in a drawer.

Questions families and employers ask
How often does it report?
The interval is configurable, balancing how current the location needs to be against battery life. For a child’s school run, frequent reporting during the journey and sparse reporting overnight is the sensible pattern.
Does it need a SIM?
Yes, a data SIM, which we supply and configure with the device so it works the day you receive it.
What does the SOS button do?
It sends an alert with the current location to the contacts you set, through the app. For lone workers that alert goes to a supervisor who can act immediately.
Is it waterproof?
The models we supply for personal use tolerate normal daily exposure. Tell us if it will be used in demanding conditions and we will specify accordingly.
Can one account hold several trackers?
Yes. A family or a company can manage several devices from one account, each with its own name, safe zones and alert contacts.
Setting one up properly
A personal tracker is only useful if it is charged, carried and configured for the routine it serves. We set the safe zones with you, choose a reporting pattern that balances visibility against battery life, put the app on the phones that need it, and test the SOS alert before handover so you know exactly what happens when the button is pressed.
